Snare Drums and Crash Cymbals Distractions This was one of the most distracting searches we have ever done in class. We certainly did not expect a percussion competition to be going on during class, but the Seaside Sniffer teams were willing to give it a try and worked amazingly well through all of those distractions. Exploring Nose Work Competitions
Bernard/Laura Bernard is such a great success story. He came to the Peninsula Humane Society (PHS) from a Shelter in Tulsa Oklahoma. Unfortunately, despite everyone's best efforts, he was not adopted for 412 days! Thankfully, during that time, he was a beneficiary of the Shelter Dog Nose Work Program. Laura Wirz, a volunteers at PHS, figured she should foster Bernard to help get him ready for adoption. Well, the foster placement turned into an adoption and now he is a member

Seaside Sniffer Staff Successes
Scout was "all in" for another year. Our team enjoyed an assortment of areas to search from Historical Western Towns, College Campus and School Sites, Airplanes and Airplane Hangers, and a variety of Vehicles. All fun! The results for our team were 1st Place Interior Summit, 3rd Place Interior Summit, ELT-P Title, ELT-P 2nd Place Overall, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Placements in Search Areas, Level 1 Elements in Containers, Exteriors and Vehicles.
